Deborah Hawkins found herself in a depressive state after a car accident and decided to write her way out of her depression. She started a blog, No Small Thing, focusing on mindfulness and gratitude, and created an intentional gratitude practice by moving away from list-based gratitude to focusing on different gratitude ‘themes’ in her life. Deborah approaches her life through the lens of gratitude first. She has written over 500 blog posts since 2010, and her favorites are published in her book, The Best of No Small Thing, Mindful Meditations. Her companion book, Practice Gratitude, Transform Your Life, helps you find your personal Grateful Dozen.
